We are beyond excited to invite you to join our winter day retreat. The first of 4 abundant seasonal gatherings to mark an honor the cycle of the year.  Connecting to these cylclical patterns in nature moves us into greater alignment and harmony with ourselves and the world around us. 

 

Every detail has been carefully thought of to insure you feel completely nourished and to lift your spirits as we come to the end of winter. We will be exploring the richness of presence—a state of being that reconnects us to the raw beauty of a life worth living and celebrating.

Located in the peaceful setting of Batheaston, just 35 minutes from Bristol or Thornbury. Surrounded by quaint cottages and rolling countryside it's the perfect place to rest and unwind.

​

There are many portals into presence, we will be exploring them through the vessel of the body, breath, sound, nature and food. When we allow ourselves to drop into simple presence, we step into a deeper awareness of life’s richness—those subtle, beautiful moments we often miss in the rush of daily living.

​

This retreat is open to anyone wanting to take a day away from the hustle of daily life to recharge, uplift and to connect with other like minded people in a beautiful setting.

If you are new here, then welcome, my name is River

My heartfelt intention is to ensure you feel fully cared for, replenished and leave feeling deeply inspired. Creating beautiful, uplifting spaces for you to step away from the busyness of life and reconnect with your true self is my passion. I believe in the power of movement and community to heal whether it’s a kitchen disco, or flowing with breath in a yoga class, from handstands to lying still and sensing the movement of the cosmos within—it’s all magic. 

​

In the morning I will be guiding you on a full spectrum 2hr practice to connect you deeply with your inner landscape through an embodied, slow flow vinyasa, pranayama and meditation. Some yoga experience required, although not much. 

​

Past retreat guest have often described these experiences as "like receiving a warm hug" I hope you can come and experience the love for yourself!

THE FOOD

Herbs and Wild aims to deepen the connection between people and the food on their plate."

Hannah from Herbs & Wild will be looking cooking up a seasonal 2 course feast. Her food is vibrant and seasonal using the best local ingredients from Devon. 

​

The traceability of ingredients is at the heart of H&W - Sourcing what is available in the UK, grown by local farmers and foraged from nature’s pantry enables us to appreciate the changing seasons, work with ingredients at their peak in flavour and nutrient density and cultivate a more sustainable food system and local food economy. 

​​

In other words her food is INCREDIBLE your in for a real treat! 

HUMAN DESIGN WORKSHOP WITH NINA THE DREAMER

Human design is a system that synthesises spirituality + science to give you a blueprint of your unique energy + essence

Nina is a beautiful gentle soul and she will be sharing digestible insights into the world of human design and how it can be a powerful tool  to journey back to you. We live in a world of so much information and influence it's easy to get lost and know what is true for you. Nina's gift to you is to help you recognise & remember your essence and to live a richly rewarding and meaningful life.

Everyone that attends will receive a print out of your own Human Design chart you will just need to provide your DOB, Location of Birth and the time of birth 

SOUND HEALING WITH RISE TO ROOTED WELLBEING

Deep relaxation in community with others, allowing your body to receive the healing sound vibrations of the gong.

Amy use gongs, tibetan singing bowls, chimes and other instruments to create a space for deep relaxation and peace. As you allow the vibrations of the gong to move through you, you access theta brain wave state which is considered to be the 'gateway to the subconscious'. It is in this space between awake and sleep that your body is able to release tension and stuck energy on both a physical and emotional level.

It will be a blissful way to end our day together!
