If you are new here, then welcome, my name is River
My heartfelt intention is to ensure you feel fully cared for on retreat with me and that you leave feeling deeply inspired and replenished. Creating beautiful, uplifting spaces for you to step away from the busyness of life and reconnect with your true self is my passion. I believe in the power of movement and community to heal whether it’s a kitchen disco, or flowing with breath in a yoga class, from handstands to lying still and sensing the movement of the cosmos within—it’s all magic!​
Paula Jankowska
Paula brings her professional background as a contemporary dancer trained at Laban. She specializes in cultivating fluidity through grounded connection with the floor, inviting you to discover movement that flows with ease and expression.

In Paula’s workshops, you’ll learn to slide, roll, fly, and flow, exploring new ways to inhabit your body. She’ll help you expand your movement vocabulary beyond the linear, tapping into creativity and freedom of form. Her approach is an invitation to reconnect with the body’s natural, fluid state — moving from grounded stability into boundless possibility.

Hannah from Herbs & Wild will be looking cooking up a seasonal 2 course feast. Her food is vibrant and seasonal using the best local ingredients from Devon.

The traceability of ingredients is at the heart of H&W - Sourcing what is available in the UK, grown by local farmers and foraged from nature’s pantry enables us to appreciate the changing seasons, work with ingredients at their peak in flavour and nutrient density and cultivate a more sustainable food system and local food economy.

We will be staying in two exquisitely designed houses perched on an elevated position, offering unparalleled sea views across to Stepper Point and the Camel Estuary. Both houses have been meticulously designed down to the little details to leave you feeling inspired and truly cared for. This is one not to be missed if you love moving your body in new ways and being immersed in the more salty way of life.🌊
This retreat is for those who have been practicing yoga for at least 6+ months or another movement modality such as, dance, capoeira, calisthenics. You by no means have to be advanced at any of these things though!! just an awareness and a willingness to explore how incredible your body is.
The morning practices will be yoga asana, meditation and pranayama in the afternoon we will have mixed movement playshops with guest teacher Paula, exploring floorwork foundations and less linear ways of moving to cultivate a sense of spherical being and flow. There will also be some more yin style practices to balance out all the Yang 🔥
All practices are optional so you can pick and choose to create the perfect retreat experience for you.
