WHAT GUESTS THOUGHT LAST TIME

"River is an incredible yoga teacher and seeing and being with her on a retreat was even more special. She is so wonderfully unique and genuinely cared about all the tiny details. I’m still reeling from this retreat, from the food, the beautiful belly laughs from us all, and the stunning fluid flows of yoga. Thank you so much River your retreat was sublime. "
"River coordinated a magical weekend. From the moment I enquired, I felt welcomed and I knew I was making the right choice. From the venue, to the schedule, yoga classes, food and unexpected goody bag - it is clear everything was carefully researched and executed with thoughtful attention to detail. Fire circling and sauna under the stars was an unexpected highlight too! Thank you River for bringing such a wonderful coven of women together, I went home feeling full of all the good stuff :)"
River, your attention to detail and love of yoga and all things wholesome made our retreat the most wonderful and special weekend. I loved every second: our yoga and breathing practices; your perfectly chosen playlists; every beautifully prepared and nutritious meal; our camp fire, sauna and massages; getting to know everyone who attended; sharing stories and laughter; the stunning setting; our gifts (thank you!)…the list is endless! It was a magical weekend that I will reflect upon and cherish forever x

River Mace Yoga Retreat-379.jpg

River Mace- Retreat Host and Lead Teacher

River Mace has always been guided by her curiosity to explore the body in new ways, a journey shaped by movement, connection, and a deep relationship with embodiment. A foundation in gymnastics sparked an early love of physical exploration, further refined through professional training as a dancer. River’s yoga path began with traditional Hatha training in Bali, complemented by 100 hours of advanced study in Embodied Yin.

Her teaching blends dynamic flow, embodied strength, and meditative stillness, helping students cultivate adaptability, courage, and joy. Inspired by a fully embodied approach to life, River embraces movement as a path to vitality and play, drawing connections between fluidity on the mat and freedom in life.

River’s retreats are thoughtfully curated spaces of nourishment, transformation, and connection. Her approach is welcoming to all levels, offering personalized guidance in a supportive, nurturing environment. Whether you love exploring armbalances or finding finding a sense of peace, each retreat invites participants to cultivate courage, connection, and joy—an experience designed to inspire, transform, and deeply replenish.

Paula Jankowska

Paula brings her professional background as a contemporary dancer trained at Laban. She specializes in cultivating fluidity through grounded connection with the floor, inviting you to discover movement that flows with ease and expression.

In Paula’s workshops, you’ll learn to slide, roll, fly, and flow, exploring new ways to inhabit your body. She’ll help you expand your movement vocabulary beyond the linear, tapping into creativity and freedom of form. Her approach is an invitation to reconnect with the body’s natural, fluid state — moving from grounded stability into boundless possibility.
