cornwall retreat march 2026 come!

LET THE LIGHT IN
A FLAVOUR OF WHAT'S IN STORE
We are so EXCITED to be returning for a second year to our retreat home beside Polzeath Beach. Held between sea and sky, it is a place that feels expansive, grounding, and deeply inspiring. This luxuriously long weekend retreat is all about welcoming the return of the light as spring begins to stir.
Think of it as the ultimate spring clean for body and mind. It will be a delightful mix of deep yoga practices, movement, breathwork, play, sauna, sea and nourishing meals. All with the intention of leaving you revitalised and ready to step into spring with clarity and energy.
KEY ELEMENTS OF THE RETREAT
THE YOGA: Grow your practice through energising flows, restorative sessions, and Katonah-inspired yoga — using maps, metaphor, inteligent assists & use of props to expand perspective and find new pathways in the body.
MOVEMENT: Expand your movement vocabulary through movement games, bodyweight primal flows and mobility.
NATURE: Take your practice outside with a coastal hike, outdoor sessions where the landscape becomes part of the practice and the conversation expands to how do we move in relationship to our environment not just on the mat.
REST: Learn self-regulation of the nervous system through breathwork, meditation & restorative practices as well as plenty of time to curl up on the sofa with panoramic views of the ocean.
CONNECT: Lean into community & conversation during practice, playtime & around the dinner table. Hanging out with like-minded people all weekend, having a laugh and being a bit silly is potentially the most valuble part of the weekend!
EXPRESS: Open your movement imagination and make space for your unique expression within guided containers that invite freedom and creativity.
PLAY: Drop the perfectionism & discover how much quicker you learn and adapt through play and not taking yourself too seriously.
YES- you might be thinking this sounds a little out of my comfort zone, but isn't that exciting?! I hope you follow what sparks something inside you whatever that may be.

THE LOCATION
Our retreat takes place at Anterre, a stunning house perched above Polzeath Beach with sweeping sea views across Stepper Point and the Camel Estuary.
Bathed in natural light, with spacious, beautifully designed interiors and a west-facing balcony for sunsets, it is a sanctuary for rest, reflection, and reconnection. It really is a jaw droppingly gorgous space.
This beautiful slice of cornwall will be our sanctuary and source of inspiration for the weekend.

WHAT GUESTS THOUGHT LAST TIME
"River is an incredible yoga teacher and seeing and being with her on a retreat was even more special. She is so wonderfully unique and genuinely cared about all the tiny details. I’m still reeling from this retreat, from the food, the beautiful belly laughs from us all, and the stunning fluid flows of yoga. Thank you so much River your retreat was sublime. "
"River coordinated a magical weekend. From the moment I enquired, I felt welcomed and I knew I was making the right choice. From the venue, to the schedule, yoga classes, food and unexpected goody bag - it is clear everything was carefully researched and executed with thoughtful attention to detail. Fire circling and sauna under the stars was an unexpected highlight too! Thank you River for bringing such a wonderful coven of women together, I went home feeling full of all the good stuff :)"
River, your attention to detail and love of yoga and all things wholesome made our retreat the most wonderful and special weekend. I loved every second: our yoga and breathing practices; your perfectly chosen playlists; every beautifully prepared and nutritious meal; our camp fire, sauna and massages; getting to know everyone who attended; sharing stories and laughter; the stunning setting; our gifts (thank you!)…the list is endless! It was a magical weekend that I will reflect upon and cherish forever x
