As the earth softens and the days lengthen, we step into a season of potential, expansion, and renewal. Bloom is our second seasonal retreat of the year, following winter’s deep stillness. Now, we emerge—opening, unfolding, and moving towards the fullness of spring.
The intention behind this retreat is to awaken your inner vitality through the elements of fire and (cold!) water. You’ll be guided through a carefully curated journey of expansive yoga practices, breathwork, wild swimming in a natural pool, and deep restoration, all woven together to cultivate a sense of expansion and renewal. A nourishing lunch by FED will make your body happy, and a sauna will be available to warm and replenish you from within.

THE PRACTICES
Morning Practice: Expand Potential
We’ll explore backbends—not as you know them, but through new techniques, intelligent mapping, and hands-on assists designed to help you move in ways you may never have before. Expect collaborative exploration, where we work together to decode movement, refine patterns, and build fluency in your body.
Afternoon Practice: Grounded Being
Our afternoon practice will focus on restoring, reframing, and refining your ground of being. Thoughtful adjustments will offer a new frame of reference, helping you find stability in your lower body so your upper body can do what it’s meant to do—express. This session invites you into deep release and embodied integration.

MEET YOUR HOST
RIVER MACE
River has always been guided by her curiosity to explore the body in new ways, a journey shaped by movement, connection, and a deep relationship with embodiment. A foundation in gymnastics sparked an early love of physical exploration, further refined through professional training as a dancer. River’s yoga path began with traditional Hatha training in Bali, complemented by 100's of hours of advanced study in Embodied Yin, Katonah Yoga and Somatic Stress Release.
Her teaching blends dynamic flow, strength, and meditative stillness, helping students cultivate adaptability, courage, and joy. Inspired by a fully embodied approach to life, River embraces movement as a path to vitality and play, drawing connections between fluidity on the mat and freedom in life.
River’s retreats are thoughtfully curated spaces of nourishment, transformation, and connection. Her approach is welcoming to all levels, offering personalized guidance in a supportive, nurturing environment. Whether you love exploring armbalances or finding a sense of peace, each retreat invites participants to cultivate courage, connection, and joy.
